Braintree County

I don't really know where this one came from. Just a random image I saw in my mind's eye.

Hate

It's a clown...need I say more? So many people are creeped out by these guys (including yours truly), that it makes one wonder two things:

1. Why would you want to become one?

2. Who supports them to the point that they can make a living?

Ride of The Valkyries

Because that's part of The Ring Trilogy, that's why.

Bikes!

For some reason, they are always on my mind.

Board

I'm not sure why the girl is standing behind a board with square holes in it, but she is.

Sunny Day Sketches

I was just sitting in the backyard, with Jack, randomly drawing whatever came to mind.

Not My Favorite

Some sketches just don't come out like you want them.

Sunny and Warm

Jack and I spent some time in the back yard, today, since the weather was nice.

On The Ropes

I've been fighting off a cold, but I think it's winning.

Chevy

Following the automotive theme a little further; a 1936 Chevy pickup truck.

Spitfire

Though this doesn't look much like one, I had a Triumph Spitfire 1500 when I was a senior in high school. So, I thought I'd try to draw one. Should have gone with the side view, since I apparently am no better at cars than motorcycles.

Robert Crumb, in answer to the question, "How can I improve my drawing?" always replies, "Draw!"

I guess I need to draw cars for a while, and improve my abilities.

Laundry Day

I hate this particular laundromat, but the good one closed.

Food Fight

You know when people say, "I like hotdogs, but they don't like me."?

This is what I always think of.

It's Saint Valentine's Day

So, I'm sending you some lug.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Trying for that Meet The Beatles vibe. Saw a similar sketch and decided to try out the shadow effect, myself.

Ramming Speeed!

That was all I could come up with, for a Mountain Sheep-themed title. I'll try to do better, tomorrow.

Trousers

Got to work, this morning, and got ready to change out of my riding clothes only to realize...

I had left my pants at home!

So, I ended up wearing my riding pants, all day. Another good reason to wear regular clothes on your commute.

More Of A Cartoon Than A "Sketch"

It might actually end up in one of the comic books. And, you saw it here, first!

Another Project

I'm thinking of putting some bookshelves up in the space between the tops of the windows and the ceiling in the "dining room". I saw some very simply-built ones, like this, on a design website and thought they might work.

Road Racer

Another motorcycle picture. This is my cousin Jeff (who happens to be a badass on two wheels) racing his SV650.

I should do a Slylock Fox thing: Can you spot ten things wrong with this picture? (I can.)

Ah, well...

Cafe Racer

Another of those things I suck at is drawing motorcycles. I guess that means I should draw more of them and try to improve on my technique.

No matter how hard I try, they always come out "cartoony", which is fine if you're drawing a comic. But, sometimes, I want them more realistic than I can manage.

Major Matt Mason!

Probably my favorite toy, ever.

His helmet was always the first thing to get lost or broken, so the majority of his adventures, like today's portrait, involved just pretending it's there.
