Nuts

Coconuts, that is. I bought a home-made ukulele, today, made from a couple of coconut shells and a hand-carved neck. The top is 1/8" plywood, hand-painted with a strange floral design, plus a painted ribbon along the bottom.

I'm going to carve some tuning pegs for it, make a nut (which is missing) from copper wire (like the frets) and string it up.

I Love A Rainy Day

It has rained all day, here in Denver, and the temps have been in the 40s and 50s all day (after a high of 60 at 3:00 AM).

I've missed the rain. This has been a record dry summer, here, so we are all relieved to get a bit of moisture.

Plus, I just love to ride in the rain.
